About these terms
These terms apply when you open a space at VirtualCardOnline and when you order, pay for and use a virtual card through it. By opening a space you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
Your account
- You must be 18 or older and able to enter into a contract where you live.
- One person, one account. The details you give us must be true and kept up to date.
- Every account uses a password and an authenticator app. Keep both to yourself; anything done with them counts as done by you.
- Tell us at once if you think someone else has used your account.
What we offer
VirtualCardOnline sells virtual cards for paying online. You choose how much a card should hold, pay for it, and a person on our team reviews the payment and issues the card into your space. A card can only be used where card payments online are accepted, and each shop decides which cards it accepts. We cannot promise that every shop will accept every card.
Ordering and prices
A card can hold from $10.00 to $5,000.00. Each card costs a funding fee of 15% of its balance plus a setup fee of $5.00. The card assistant and the order form show the full price before you pay, worked out on our server; that price is held for 30 minutes. An order placed with that price keeps it, even if our fees change later.
Paying
Crypto transfer
Send exactly the total shown, in the currency and on the network shown, to the address shown, then give us the transaction ID. Transfers on the wrong network, in another coin or to another address may be lost and cannot always be recovered. If your exchange or wallet takes a withdrawal fee, add it on top so that the whole total arrives.
Hosted checkout
Some payment methods send you to a payment provider's own page. The provider's terms apply to that payment. The order is paid once the provider confirms it to us.
Review and issuing
A person checks every payment against its order before a card is issued. Most cards are ready within a few hours after the payment is confirmed. We may refuse an order, for example when a payment does not match or the order breaks these terms; we then explain why on the order. If we decline an order after your payment reached us, we contact you to arrange the return of the amount received, less any network costs of sending it back.
Using the card
- The card holds the balance you paid for. It does not earn interest and cannot be turned into cash.
- Use it only for lawful purchases, and only yourself.
- Its details stay sealed in your space until you unseal them with a fresh authenticator code. Do not share them.
- We may freeze a card while we look into suspected fraud or misuse, and we tell you when we do.
What is not allowed
Using the service or a card for anything illegal; for goods or services that are prohibited where you or the shop are; to hide the origin of money; to break sanctions; or in a way that deceives a shop or another person. We may close accounts and cards involved in any of this and report it where the law requires.
Refunds
Which balances can be refunded, how much and how is set out in the refund rules, which is part of these terms. In short: an unused card's full balance can come back; a used card can only be refunded when at least $500.00 remains, minus a 10% commission; fees are not refunded.
Closing or suspending an account
You can ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or close any account that breaks these terms, after telling you why where the law allows. Balances on cards that can be refunded are handled under the refund rules.
Liability
We provide the service with care, but we cannot control the shops where you use a card, the payment providers, or the blockchains your transfer travels on. As far as the law permits, we do not accept liability for losses they cause, for a shop refusing a card, or for transfers sent to the wrong address or network. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. Material changes are announced by email at least 14 days before they apply to you; orders placed before then keep the terms they were placed under.
Law and disputes
These terms follow the law of the country VirtualCardOnline is run from, and disputes go to the courts of that country. If the law where you live gives you rights that no agreement can take away, you keep them, including any right to use your own courts. Before going to court, please write to [email protected]; most problems are solved there.
